As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with the general laws pursuant to § 7 para. 1 TMG. However, according to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity.

Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. Note according to battery law

Since we sell batteries and rechargeable batteries or devices containing batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following: Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste; you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and are recycled. You can either return the batteries to us after use or return them free of charge in the immediate vicinity (e.g. to retailers or municipal collection points). The return of batteries to sales outlets is limited to the quantities customary for end-users for disposal purposes and to those spent batteries that the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in its product range. This crossed-out wheeled bin means that batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste.

Reference to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act

Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste.

Consumers can hand in their waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge at one of the municipal collection points.

Under this symbol you will also find the following symbols with the following meaning:
Pb: battery contains more than 0.004 per cent lead
Cd: Battery contains more than 0.002 per cent cadmium
Hg: Battery contains more than 0.0005 per cent mercury.
